My name is Dani, and I am an ecologist, environmentalist, avid birder, wildlife photographer, and permaculture practitioner.
The idea for this site began as a place for my wildlife photos, but my outdoor adventures encompass so much more than just my weekend hobby. I wanted to share our journey in creating a beautiful green space for wildlife and ourselves as well as our mission to help others become more sustainable and self-sufficient.
I live in beautiful Clearwater, Florida with my husband Brent and our three teenage sons. Birds, native plants, and growing things are my love and passion. One of my favorite activities is taking people on nature walks and teaching them about the habitat and our connection to it all.
